Abstract

The Modern Biomathematics Summer School is a Tianyuan Fund project based on Fudan University, with Lin Wei as the project leader. In recent years, with the continuous development and in-depth research of life sciences, many mathematical problems with significant biomedical backgrounds have emerged, forming the hot spots and frontiers of modern biomathematics research. In recent years, the project applicant has carried out relevant scientific research in this field and established close cooperative relations with many internationally renowned scholars. Therefore, the project applicant initiated the Modern Biomathematics Summer School, and invited well-known experts and scholars in this field at home and abroad to systematically teach relevant courses and the development frontiers of modern biomathematics to the participating graduate students and young scholars. I believe that through the holding of this event, it will further promote the sustainable development of the field of modern biomathematics in China, and at the same time lay a solid foundation for solving some important problems in life sciences and improving and enriching modern mathematical theories and methodologies.
